The heart of the order, Morel, Wagaman and Melendez, left the yard on Wednesday. Christopher Morel has been red hot in the month of August; through eight games, he is batting .313/.351/.906 with six homers and 15 RBIs.

Warren delivered a scoreless inning in relief as he continues his rehab. Dylan Ross had strung together a mix of solid-to-good performances out of the bullpen before surrendering three runs and recording one out on Wednesday.

Binghamton continued their winning ways with more help from the new kids.
Top prospect Jefferson Rojas has enjoyed his stay with the Rumble Ponies so far, slashing .308/.333/.577 through seven games with the Mets’ organization. Billy Amick homered for the sixth time in his ninth game with Binghamton. Pitre continues to put the bat on the ball; he now has 12 hits in seven games since coming over at the trade deadline.

In nine games as a professional, Aiden Robbins has swung the bat well, batting .294 with a double and six RBIs. He’s making solid contact but still is looking for the extra-base hits to come, with only a lone double so far.
Bohan Adderley has swung the bat well in his short time in St. Lucie, batting .296 through seven games.
