Good morning, Mets fans!
The Mets fell to the Braves 6-3 on Wednesday despite having the tying run up to bat. But in the minor league portions of the organization, things look bright.
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies have been on fire, running up double-digit runs for the second game in a row and winning their ninth consecutive win. This has been led by new additions to the team including Mitch Voit, Jefferson Rojas, Émilien Pitre and Billy Amick.
The Syracuse Mets and St. Lucie Mets offenses also had big nights even if the St Lucie pitching did not match the offense. Jack Wenninger did have a velocity bounce-back in Triple-A which is a good sign.
