Senga struggled with his control on the day, barely throwing 50% of his pitches for strikes. On a positive note, he did throw 80 pitches. Lavender struggled somewhat, but he has had a good May as he works his way back from Tommy John surgery. Lambert has also had a good May, but has been victimized by the home run ball, with two of the four hits he has allowed being homers.
Double-A
Binghamton Rumble Ponies (16-32) 9, Portland Sea Dogs (25-22) 10
BOX SCORE
- C Chris Suero – 1-for-4, 2 R, 4 SB (14), 2 BB, 1 K (.763 OPS)

- 3B Jacob Reimer – 2-for-4, 1 R, 1 RBI (13), 1 BB, 1 K (.749 OPS)
Suero continues to keep running a very odd slash line of .181/.361/.402 – reaching base at a 36% clip despite having some very bad batted-ball luck. Jose Ramos went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs as he attempted to play hero on offense.
- RHP R.J. Gordon (8.38 ERA) 3 IP, 1 H, 2 R (0 ER), 2 BB, 4 K (26 of 46 pitches for strikes)
- RHP Jordan Geber (7.11 ERA) 3 IP, 6 H, 6 ER, 2 BB, 3 K , 1 HR allowed
Jefry Yan made two errors, which earned him the blown save on Thursday. Gordon is still building up his pitch count, but was hurt by some poor defense.
High-A
Brooklyn Cyclones (14-33) 5, Wilmington Blue Rocks (26-21) 7
BOX SCORE
- SS Mitch Voit – 0-for-4, 4 K (.678 OPS)
- DH Daiverson Gutierrez – 0-for-4 (.508 OPS)
- C Ronald Hernandez – 2-for-4, 2B, 3 R, 1 K (.758 OPS)
Gutierrez has struggled in 2026, with a .226 slugging percentage. John Bay, who has been the Cyclones’ most consistent hitter had a rare 0-for on the day. Hernandez continues to show that his bat is real, but had his seventh error on the season.
- RHP Noah Hall (6.54 ERA) 3 2/3 IP, 3 H, 3 ER, 5 BB, 4 K (44 of 88 pitches)
The Cyclones’ pitchers walked eight batters, which would come back to hurt them. Hall has not had any control this season, walking 32 batters in 42 innings. His lack of control also has him allowing a .287 batting average.
Low-A
St. Lucie Mets (22-26) 3, Bradenton Marauders (24-23) 1
BOX SCORE
- 1B Ronald Guzman – 0-for-4, 2 K (.835 OPS)

- 2B Jamari Baylor – 1-for-3, 1 R, HR (4), 2 RBI (6), 1 K (.785 OPS)
St. Lucie only had six baserunners on Thursday, but home runs from De Oleo and Baylor would prove to be more than enough. Elian Peña received the day off.
- RHP Jose Chirinos (2.36 ERA) 6 IP, 3 H, 1 R (0 ER), 1 BB, 9 K (51 of 82 pitches for strikes)
Chirinos was untouchable, allowing three hits while striking out nine batters. Joe Scarborough, despite having a 2.93 ERA, is sporting a WHIP near two thanks to walking 12 batters and allowing 18 hits in 15 1/3 innings.
