Jonathan Santucci and Mitch Voit were among the Mets prospects who received promotions this past week. Santucci is moving from Double-A to Triple-A, while Voit is on his way to Double-A from High-A. Santucci has pitched well lately and has a 3.57 ERA this year, while Voit has done better this season after a disappointing end of 2025 after being drafted. He is leading the organization in stolen bases.

Triple-A 

The Syracuse Mets split their six-game series against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. The Mets outscored the RailRiders 28-24 and are now 12-14 in the second half of the season. Overall, they are 50-51.

Ronny Mauricio had a scorching week at the plate for Syracuse, going 8-for-25 with four home runs and eight RBIs. Mauricio also added a double, a walk and a stolen base to his ledger. He has been excellent at the Triple-A level, owning a .948 OPS in 29 games.

Ben Rortvedt was productive in just three games played, going 5-for-10 with a homer and five RBIs. Rortvedt also had a double, two walks and a stolen base. The catcher has a .748 OPS in 44 games with Syracuse.

Christopher Morel had another great week for the Syracuse Mets, going 5-for-17 with two doubles and a home run, with two runs driven in. Morel also walked three times, and he now has a 1.114 OPS in his first 16 games with Syracuse.

Jonah Tong only went 4 2/3 innings in his lone start of the week, but he allowed just one run on four hits and four walks while striking out nine batters. Tong still has just a 5.59 ERA this season.

Jack Weisenburger also had a short start, but he was excellent with three perfect innings. He struck out two and lowered his season ERA to 6.44.

Double-A

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies also split their six-game series against the Portland Sea Dogs. The series was very low scoring, with Binghamton outscoring Portland 21-20. The Rumble Ponies are now 9-18 in the second half of the season and 36-60 overall.

Jose Ramos had a fantastic offensive week, going 7-for-20 with three doubles, two home runs and six RBIs driven in. He also drew three walks and scored five runs. He now has a .744 OPS this season.

In his first week at the Double-A level, Corey Collins was excellent. He matched Ramos by going 7-for-20, recording a double, a home run and four RBIs. He also walked twice and has a .959 OPS after his first six games in Binghamton.

John Bay also impressed in his Double-A debut, going 5-for-16 with two doubles, five walks and a stolen base. In his first five games with Binghamton, Bay owns a .938 OPS.

Jonathan Santucci’s final start with Binghamton before his promotion saw him toss five shutout innings. He allowed just two hits and three walks while striking out six. He now heads to Triple-A with a 3.57 ERA on the year.

R.J. Gordon allowed two runs (one earned) in five innings, allowing eight baserunners but striking out seven. Gordon has shown flashes of success this year, but he’s ultimately struggled to the tune of a 6.42 ERA.

High-A

The Brooklyn Cyclones went 2-4 against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws, losing the first two games of the series before splitting the final four. The Cyclones are now 14-15 in the second half of the season and 39-55 overall.

Trace Willhoite was easily Brooklyn’s most productive position player in this series, going 5-for-11 with two doubles, a home run and three RBIs. He also added a walk and a stolen base, improving his OPS to .688. Kevin Villavicencio, who went 1-for-11 in the series, was the only other player for the Cyclones to record a home run.

Noah Hall was dominant in his latest outing, allowing just one run in six innings. Hall gave up four hits and a walk but struck out 10. He now has a 4.58 ERA for Brooklyn this season.

Nicolas Carreno also allowed just one run in a six-inning start. Carreno was a bit wilder, allowing three hits, a walk and two hit batsmen, but he also recorded six strikeouts. Carreno has a 5.58 ERA in seven appearances (six starts) for Brooklyn.

Jose Chirinos had one of his best starts at the High-A level, tossing four scoreless innings. He allowed one hit and two walks while striking out six. Chirinos has a 4.74 ERA in nine starts for Brooklyn.

Low-A

The St. Lucie Mets played a seven-game series against the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels, making up a game from earlier in the season. The Mets went 3-4, getting outscored 49-47 in a series that had a lot of offense. St. Lucie is now 11-18 in the second half of the season and 44-51 overall.

Randy Guzman was on fire at the plate, going 8-for-22 with a double, a triple, two home runs and 10 RBIs. Guzman also walked four times and stole a base. He has been great this season, owning an .891 OPS in 60 games.

Julio Zayas went 6-for-21 with a double and a pair of home runs, recording four RBIs. He also walked twice and raised his OPS on the year to .705.

Trey Snyder led the team with nine hits, doing so in 22 at-bats. He recorded two doubles and seven RBIs, also walking three times and stealing four bases. Snyder owns a .793 OPS with St. Lucie this season.

Conner Ware was brilliant in two games on the mound, one of which was a start. Combined, he threw seven shutout innings with just six baserunners allowed and 12 strikeouts. His dominant performance lowered his season ERA to 4.23.

Elwis Mijares looked excellent in three relief appearances, combining to throw 4 1/3 scoreless innings. He allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out five. Mijares has a 5.17 ERA in 29 appearances with St. Lucie this year.

FCL Mets

The FCL Mets went 1-2 this past week to finish their season at 24-32. Yovanny Rodriguez (.849 OPS, 34 RBIs) and Vladi Gomez (.872 OPS, 32 SB) were the team’s top offensive producers, while Nathan Hall (6 starts, 1.17 ERA) and Franyel Diaz (11 G, 1.84 ERA) shined on the mound.

DSL Mets

The DSL Mets Blue had another tough week, going 1-4 to fall to 15-25 on the year. The DSL Mets Orange had more luck, going 4-1 to improve to 21-20.

Henry Manrique continued his strong season for DSL Mets Blue, going 5-for-15 with two doubles, four walks and two stolen bases. Manrique owns an .877 OPS with more walks than strikeouts this season. On the mound, Josbel Torrez impressed with one run allowed in 4 2/3 innings. He allowed two hits and two walks while striking out five. Torrez owns a 7.46 ERA in nine appearances this summer.

Cleiner Ramirez raked once again for DSL Mets Orange, going 3-for-10 with two home runs and four RBIs. He also had a walk and a stolen base. Ramirez raised his OPS to .864 on the year. Alvaro Carrillo tossed 3 2/3 scoreless innings from the mound, striking out seven. Carrillo owns a 2.75 ERA in 12 appearances.

Players of the Week

Offense – Ronny Mauricio, INF Syracuse

Mauricio has yet to pan out at the major league level, but there’s no doubt about his production at Triple-A. Mauricio recorded four home runs this week and has an OPS over .900 in more than 100 at-bats for Syracuse. With the trade deadline looming, Mauricio could either be dealt or see himself back on the major league team if another Mets infielder gets dealt.

Pitching – Conner Ware, P St. Lucie

Ware was the Mets’ 15th-round pick in 2025. He’s recorded a 4.23 ERA in his first professional season so far, and his last two outings were two of his best this year. With the season winding down, Ware will look to build on the momentum he is starting to create for himself.
