On Monday, Juan Soto spoke to the media about his latest calf injury, discussing whether or not he would return this season.
Anthony DiComo of MLB.com shared a quote by Soto saying “Definitely, 100%” in response to a question regarding a potential 2026 return.
Soto has been the Mets’ best player by a wide margin this season, with Monday night’s win being just the fifth in 23 games without the slugger. He was elected an All-Star for the fifth time in his career this season, and is second in the National League in OPS.
