The New York Mets’ game against the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday night at Citi Field was postponed because of inclement weather.
The Mets announced that the game would be made up as part of a split-admission doubleheader on Wednesday. The first game is scheduled to begin at 1:10 pm ET, while the night game remains set for 7:10 pm ET.
Sean Manaea (2-5, 4.52 ERA) and Braves right-hander Grant Holmes (6-4, 3.79 ERA) are the probable starters for Game 1 of Wednesday’s doubleheader, though that could still change before first pitch. Christian Scott (3-2, 3.13 ERA) and Atlanta ace Chris Sale (11-6, 2.19 ERA) were Tuesday’s originally scheduled starters. Nothing is fully set in stone, but those four pitchers are the most likely to handle the two matchups.
Fans holding tickets for Tuesday’s postponed contest should check the Mets’ rainout policy for information regarding exchanges. Citi Field’s parking lots will open at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, with gates opening at 11:40 a.m.
