Just one Division Series needs to be decided after the Rays, Dodgers and Brewers all punched their tickets to the Championship Series on Wednesday. The Guardians fended off a sweep from the White Sox in Game 3 of the ALDS, as Jo Adell and José Ramírez led the charge with two hits each, combining to drive in five runs in a 9-3 victory.

Parker Messick (12-9, 2.56 ERA) vs. Hagen Smith (3-3, 1.29 ERA)
The Guardians will turn to their rookie sensation, Parker Messick, to keep their season alive. Messick took the loss in Game 1 of the series, allowing two runs and four hits while striking out six and walking two over 4 1/3 innings. Both runs he surrendered came on a two-run homer by Munetaka Murakami.
The White Sox will counter with another bullpen game, which will once again be started by Hagen Smith. The 23-year-old southpaw has appeared in three games this postseason, including two starts, throwing 6 1/3 innings and allowing one earned run with six strikeouts against five walks.
