Good morning, Mets fans!
It’s going down to the wire, as the Cleveland Guardians defeated the Chicago White Sox 9-5 in Game 4 of the ALDS, overcoming a 4-3 deficit with a six-run sixth inning to force a winner-take-all Game 5 on Saturday. Travis Bazzana sparked the rally with an RBI double, followed by key hits from Patrick Bailey, José Ramírez, Chase DeLauter and Jo Adell.
Cleveland has now scored nine runs in consecutive postseason games for just the second time in franchise history, putting itself one win away from an ALCS matchup against the Rays after falling behind 2-0 in the series.
