Good morning, Mets fans!

Carlos Mendoza gave up an update on Sean Manaea‘s recovery: “He’s throwing. I think he’s up to 90 feet.”

Manaea was shut down on Feb. 24 after suffering an oblique strain. He was reported to have received a clean MRI on March 13. The Mets brought him back on a three-year deal this offseason and will be looking for him to shore up the rotation as soon as possible. The initial timetable had him returning sometime in April, and so far, he seems on track for that.
