Morning Briefing: Welcome Back Wright!

Good Morning Mets fans!

Tonight, Noah Syndergaard (12-4, 3.36 ERA) and the Mets will open a three-game set against the Atlanta Braves. The Braves will toss out rookie Touki Toussaint(2-1, 4.30 ERA) out to face Thor. This series marks the beginning of the final homestead of the Mets season. The game can be viewed on SNY and 710WOR at 7:10 P.M.

Today, the Mets will activate David Wright from the 60-day DL and place him on their active roster. This will mark the first time since 2016 Wright will be on the Mets roster. However, except for brief pinch-hitting appearances, Wright will not play until Saturday.
