Prospect Pulse: Quick Q&A With St. Lucie Infielder Danny Muno
I caught up with St. Lucie Mets infielder Danny Muno during St. Lucie’s off-day on Sunday. The St. Lucie Mets lead the Florida State League’s Southern Division by 9.0 games right now with a 28-8 record. We only had a few minutes for a quick couple of questions, but I thought you might find it interesting none-the-less. Bisons And B-Mets Both Win 7-6!
Buffalo 7, Charlotte 6 By Pete Shapiro The Bisons hung on to win a nail-biter as SS Omar Quintanilla made a diving, sprawling catch in shallow left-field, with two-outs in the ninth and the tying run rounding third-base and on it’s way home. Had Quintanilla not made the spectacular play to stifle a two-out rally the game would have been tied up, instead the Herd held on to defeat the Charlotte Knights by a score [...]

A check of the Bison’s roster on the team’s official website reveals that Scales name has been removed from the team’s roster. Scales, a second baseman, is presently leading the Herd with a .339 batting average. His [...]

Charlotte 3, Buffalo 2 By Pete Shapiro The Herd battled it out with the Charlotte Knights with never any more than one run separating the two combatants, for ten tense innings before succumbing to Charlotte by a score of 3-2. Buffalo would come back to tie the score, both in the seventh and ninth innings, only to see the game slip away from them in the bottom-of-the-tenth. LHP Garrett Olson was the story of the [...]
