It was a tremendous day for the New York Mets’ farm system as each of the organization’s four top minor league teams were victorious thanks to strong pitching performances. Leading the way was Jonathan Santucci who had the longest, and arguably, the best outing of his season for Double-A Binghamton.

Meanwhile, infielder Grae Kessinger reached base four times as his rehab continued with High-A Brooklyn and Ryan Clifford clubbed his organizational-leading 14th home run of the season for Triple-A Syracuse.

Triple-A

Syracuse Mets 5 (32-30), Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders 0 (31-30)

Box Score

  • LF Ryan Clifford: 1-4, HR, 2 RBI (.776 OPS)
  • CF Cristian Pache: 2-4, 2B, RBI (.696 OPS)
  • 2B Ji Hwan Bae: 1-3, R, SB (.765 OPS)

Clifford hit his 14th home run of the season on Saturday. That figure ranks top 20 in all of minor league baseball. However, Clifford’s so-so OPS of .776 on the season shows he has been an “all-or-nothing” hitter in 2026.

Bae. meanwhile, stole his 20th base of the season. That figure ranks third in the International League.

After a cup of coffee in the big leagues, Pintaro has continued his Triple-A successes. He threw two innings of one-run ball on Saturday. Entering Saturday, Pintaro’s xwOBA, xBA, and xSLG all ranked above the 68th percentile in Triple-A.

Pintaro combined with Weisenburger and Nate Lavender in the shutout of the Railriders. Weisenburger, in particular, was great. He followed the opener Lavender and tossed 5 1/3 shutout innings in his best appearance of the season.
