ESPN’s Enrique Rojas reported via Twitter that Mets prospect Fernando Martinez was named the MVP of the Caribbean Series last night. Mets first base prospect Ike Davis kicked off the AFL season in grand fashion as Surprise Rafters routed Peo Javelinas Peo Javelinas 17-4.
