Zack Wheeler’s Triple-A Debut Will Air On SNY

Mets top prospect Zack Wheeler is currently making his much anticipated debut for Triple-A Buffalo.

The game will be rebroadcast on SNY with coverage starting at 7:00 PM.

Wheeler dominated Double-A this season to the tune of a 10-6 mark, with a 3.26 ERA. He gave up just 92 hits and struck out 117 batters in 116 innings pitched .

As a bonus you may also get to see Matt Den Dekker in the lineup, although he has struggled in 48 games for the Bisons batting just .191 with 7 home runs and 27 RBI.

It’s great to see the Mets give us this glimpse into the future with one of our  young phenoms.

  • Good luck kid. You may need it.

  • Four walks, three hits and two earned runs in his Triple A debut.

Wheeler was starting to get hit a bit his third time through the lineup when the two runs were scored yet I could not find out his pitch count. Was it time to be taken out or could he have been allowed to work himself out of it?
