Mike Puma of the New York Post reports that Wilmer Flores is back with the Major League team in Arizona. As a corresponding move, Ty Kelly has been sent back down to Triple-A Las Vegas. Kelly did not take a plate appearance during his brief stay.

Flores, 26, has been sidelined since last month with lower back soreness. In three rehab games, he went 6-for-11 with two doubles, a home run and four RBIs. He played two games at first and one at third.

In 46 games, Wilmer had 128 plate appearances, slashing .248/.320/.398 with three home runs and 13 RBIs. He had been heating up before his DL stint, and as the Mets are in hitter-friendly Arizona, that should help him ease back into the big leagues.
