According to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, the Marlins have hired Juan Pierre as their newest outfield coordinator and Eric Duncan as their newest hitting coordinator. Pierre spent four of 14 MLB seasons with the Marlins.

According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today Sports, Roy Halladay’s Hall of Fame plaque will not sport a team logo out of respect for both the Phillies and Blue Jays. Halladay spent his final four seasons with the Phillies, winning his second CY Young award in 2010.
