The Texas Rangers placed right-handed pitcher and former Met Jacob deGrom on the 15-day injured list with right elbow inflammation. They announced that with deGrom headed to the IL, they are recalling right-handed pitcher Yerry Rodriguez (#57) from Triple-A Round Rock. He was available for Saturday night’s game against the New York Yankees.

The Mets and Braves continue their series on Sunday. Their game from Saturday was postponed due to rain and will be made up in August.

The Mets announced that their game aginast the Braves on Saturday was postponed due to inclement weather tormenting the entire east coast of the United States. It will be made up as part of a split-admission doubleheader on Saturday, August 12 with Game 1 scheduled to begin at 1:10 p.m., and Game 2 scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
