Good Morning Mets Fans. The New York Mets (19-26) look to continue their quest of getting back on track as they open up  a series against the Pittsburgh Pirates (22-26). Jacob deGrom (3-1, 3.56 ERA) will toe the rubber for the Mets and be opposed by Chad Kuhl (1-4, 5.85 ERA).

Rafael Montero underwhelmed yet again on Thursday night, allowing three runs on five hits in three innings of work. He walked three batters while striking out four and took the loss.
