Good morning, Mets fans.

The Mets lost 5-4 to the Giants on Friday night after the bullpen blew yet another late lead. The loss gave the Mets a record of 7-19 for the month of June, marking the worst record in any calendar month for the team since June 2018 when they went 5-21. It was also the second-worst record of any MLB team in the month of June, only in front of the 23-59 Royals.

The loss was the Mets’ third in a row and brought them to 10 games below .500 at 36-46.
