Chicago White Sox (2-2) @ Cleveland Guardians (2-2)
8:00 PM, Progressive Field, Cleveland, OH
RHP Sean Burke (1-0, 3.86 ERA) vs. RHP Gavin Williams (1-1, 3.00 ERA)

Life comes at you fast.

The White Sox stunned the Guardians with two wins in Cleveland, taking a 2-0 series lead and pushing the series back to Chicago. But with their backs against the wall, the Guardians then dominated the White Sox over two games to push the series back to Ohio.

Bullpen games did the White Sox in. But in Game 5, they’ll be backed by their ace Sean Burke. The ace had a breakout season for the White Sox this season, striking out 185 batters and posting a 3.34 ERA. The righty also put in a solid outing against the Guardians in Game 1, allowing just one earned run across 5 1/3 innings.

Meanwhile, the Guardians counter with Gavin Williams. The righty has been a force in this series, striking out 11 in the Game 1 loss and then securing a Game 4 win with a scoreless ninth. Cleveland will turn toward their ace one final time and attempt to reach the American League Championship Series again.
