Good morning, Mets fans!

Sean Manaea allowed just one hit and struck out eight over six scoreless innings in his Mets debut, but the Mets’ lineup went silent, and the Tigers busted through for five unearned runs in the 10th inning for a 5-0 victory. The Mets have fallen to 0-4 for the first time since 2005 and just the fifth time in franchise history (1962-64). They haven’t held a lead since the fourth inning on Opening Day and have scored just eight total runs.
