The Mets finally put together a complete performance yesterday as they beat the Phillies 6-3, and they look to do it again tonight. Yesterday they received an average start from Bartolo Colon coupled with three homers from the offense, including a key go ahead three-run shot from Wilmer Flores and solid relief pitching to close the door.

Tonight Jacob deGrom will look to make sure the Mets end up in the win column against Jerome Williams. Jacob is 5-4 on the season over 9 starts and 55.2 innings with a 2.75 ERA. In his last two starts he has tossed 14.0 innings allowing 6 hits, 1 earned run including 17 strikeouts.
