zack wheeler 3Tonight the Mets open a 3-game series with the Atlanta Braves in a matchup of two incredibly talented young pitchers. 24-year-old Zack Wheeler (10-10, 3.61) takes on 23-year-old righty Julio Teheran (13-12, 2.89) with first pitch at 7:35 from Turner Field.

In his last start Wheeler took the loss in a 10-3 defeat to the Nationals on September 13th at Citi Field. He pitched just 4 innings, allowing seven hits and a season-high tying six earned runs.
