Mets pitcher Matt Harvey threw a side-session prior to Sunday’s games against the San Francisco Giants. Pitching coach Dan Warthen said the toss went well.
“His arm felt great, went through all of his pitches,” he said. “Everything is going in the right direction.”
Harvey threw off of a mound on July 31, the first time the Mets ace had done so since undergoing Tommy John surgery last October.
