Good morning, Mets fans!

With just one day to go until the August 3 trade deadline, things are heating up around MLB as players begin to move around, including Tarik Skubal. It was reported by Jon Heyman of the New York Post on Saturday night that Skubal is headed to the Los Angeles Dodgers for outfielder Zyhir Hope, right-handed pitcher River Ryan and right-handed pitcher Brady Smith.

The Dodgers got the deal done without using any of their top four prospects.

Ryan is the brother of former Mets farmhand Ryder Ryan, who they got for Jay Bruce in 2017.
