Former Mets outfielder Carlos Beltrán on Sunday was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. He joined Jeff Kent and Andruw Jones in the class of 2026 that was officially inducted on Sunday in Cooperstown.
Beltrán shared why he chose to where a Mets cap for his Hall of Fame Plaque: “New York shaped my life. It was here where I experienced my greatest success and some of my greatest challenges. … It represents a place where I became the best version of myself.”
Mets president of baseball operations David Stearns was in Cooperstown to support Beltrán.
