The Mets finally snapped their eight game losing streak on Sunday night against the Yankees thanks mainly to two members of the team: Seth Lugo and Todd Frazier.

Lugo made an excellent spot start that probably lands him in the rotation at least one more time through. Frazier provided the offense on a homer and had an amazing double play to end the game. Afterwards, the Mets started a long awaited shake up of the roster, releasing Adrian Gonzalez and DFAing Jose Lobaton for Dominic Smith and Ty Kelly. Now the Mets will head into Atlanta where they hope that No. 1, they can find their bats and support their pitchers and No. 2, hope for nice weather for the first time down in Atlanta this season.
