According to Mike Puma of the NY Post, Seth Lugo is scheduled to make another start on Friday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Lugo will be followed by lefty Jason Vargas on Saturday night.

Since joining the rotation, Lugo is yet to allow a run over 15 innings.

He continued that success in his latest start on Sunday Night Baseball. He dominated one of the best offenses in baseball, allowing only two hits and striking out eight over six shutout innings against the Yankees to lower his ERA to 1.77.

Vargas was in-line to start tonight against the Braves, but had his turn skipped as to not effect the other four starters with the off-day on Monday.

Despite still owning a 7.71 ERA Vargas has pitched better of late, delivering a pair of quality starts.
