The Mets will play two games today. In addition to their matinee matchup with Houston, they will also play the Washington Nationals away with the game being streamed on MLB Network at 7 p.m.

Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes was scratched from this afternoon’s lineup with a sore wrist. The outfielder hit a home run Sunday against Houston.

David Wright was reexamined Monday by back specialist Dr. Robert Watkins in Los Angeles. His shoulder and lower back issues persist, the Mets say, and he will refrain from baseball activity for another eight weeks.
