Wilmer Flores lined a clutch hit to move the tying run, Matt den Dekker to third. However MDD would be thrown out on a play to the plate one batter later and the Nationals hung on to win.

The Nats have now beaten the Mets at home for ten straight games. No team has a longer Citi Field winning streak than the Nationals.
