Morning Briefing: After Harper Heroics, Back To AL Action

Today the ALDS will resume. Both the Yankees and Red Sox will look stave off a sweep. The Red Sox host the Astros at 2:38 p.m. and the Yankees host the Indians at 7:38 p.m.

Last night, the Cubs were leading 3-1 but blew it in the eighth inning. Bryce Harper hit a tying homer while Ryan Zimmerman hit a go-ahead three-run shot. All of this was happening while Wade Davis was standing ready in the bullpen. Yasiel Puig (three hits) and the Dodgers won their game 8-5 to take a 2-0 NLDS lead against the Diamondbacks.
