New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo has a knee issue that has stopped his rehab assignment with the Las Vegas 51s.

Nimmo was in the original lineup for the 51s on Saturday night, but he was a late scratch and hasn’t played since.

He was on the rehab assignment because of a strained hamstring that he suffered while playing for Team Italy in the World Baseball Classic.

The hamstring issue has keep Nimmo out of major league action the entire 2017 season to this point.

Nimmo is 5 for 35 with seven walks in nine games between the St. Lucie Mets and the Las Vegas 51s.
