Noah Syndergaard, who was on the disabled list with a sprained left shoulder, made his return for the 51s last night and didn’t fare very well. The right-hander pitched just four innings, allowing four runs on seven hits while striking out three and walking one.

Syndergaard, who is widely regarded as the Mets top prospect, is now 5-4 with a 4.78 ERA in 58.1 innings for Triple-A Las Vegas in 2014.
