DARIN GORSKI: Is he officially a reliever now?

With Aaron Laffey officially named the starter on Sunday, when the Mets complete their series against the Miami Marlins, the front office have a corresponding move to make.

It looks like the beneficiary will be Darin Gorski who was initially assigned to Double-A Binghamton.

The left-hander, who I had pegged for Vegas all along, had a solid season for Bingo in 2012, making 24 starts and posting a 4.00 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in 139.2 innings pitched.
