Mets Designate Garrett Olson For Assignment

The Mets designated left-hander Garrett Olson for assignment to make room for on the roster for Johan Santana who was officially activated from the DL.
The move leaves Josh Edgin as the only lefty reliever in the bullpen.
Olson was charged with four runs while recording only one out in his lone appearance.

Good. Even though he’s a lefty, Olson had no business being up here.
Olson wasn’t even good at Buffalo. In terms of Edgin, pray or meditate that the Mets bring in another lefty. I don’t think the FO ever learns lessons from their mistakes.
At least we have a Major League club that’s still relevant. Oh wait…
Well at least we can say we’ve been relevant the past few seasons. Oh never mind…..
