I Can Fix Josh Thole In Two Minutes
Poor Josh Thole just cant seem to catch a break these days…
Whispers about his game-calling…
Too many passed balls…
A god awful amount of wild pitches…
You just gotta feel bad for the guy…
To make matters worse, Terry Collins is calling for a team meeting apparently because of comments Pedro Beato made after last night’s wild pitch. You know the one right?
“I yanked it a little too far,” Beato told reporters. “Unfortunately, Thole wasn’t able to get to it. It got away from him.”
Even Bobby Ojeda and Gary Cohen both said Thole should have caught it and gotten out in front of it…
One of our readers sent this into us today.
What do you think?
Any chance it could help?

You know I may be wrong but that glove doesn’t look like a regulation glove.
Is that a catchers mitt or a chest protector! lol
He already uses that glove for Dickey…
When I read the title of this, Rick Peterson came to mind immediately
Hopefully he’s shrinking Josh Thole and that’s why the glove looks bigger…that way his strike zone will be smaller, and maybe he can actually get on base once in awhile by earning walks as pitchers try to deal with his shrunken strike zone.
Yeah maybe he should of blocked it but Beato needs to shut up and do what he is paid to do, get batters out instead of throwing the ball over the place but the plate, sheesh.
Exactly. Pitch strikes and keep the ball around the plate and you won’t need a super-human catcher. It’s not like Beato is the second coming of Seaver that he can afford to spout off.
