On a sad note, television broadcasting legend Dick Clark has died of a heart attack today at the age of 82.

Clark is best known for hosting blockbuster television shows such as American Bandstand, $25,000 Pyramid, and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

“America’s Teenager” was once asked about his always youthful looks and offered this advice, ”If you want to stay young looking, pick your parents very carefully.”

Clark is survived by his 3 children from his first two marriages and his current wife Kari Wigton.

New Years Eve wont be the same without him…

Rest in peace, Dick.
