A- New York Penn League: Brooklyn 6/13/2, Jamestown 7/8/0, Jamestown leads 1-0, best of 3

The Cyclones rallied from 6-1 don with 2 in the 5th, 1 in the 7th and 2 in the 8th to tie, before Wes Wrenn gave up a run in the bottom of the 8th, providing Jamestown with the final margin of victory, and leaving Brooklyn on the brink of elimination in the best of 3 series. Darrell Ceciliani, Cory Vaughn, Jeff Flagg (3) and Joe Bonfe (4) had multi hit games, while JB Brown, Juan Centeno and James Schroeder took 0-fers. The Cyclones were an awful 4 for 20 (.200) with RISP and left 12 on base. Yohan Almonte got the start, and he got demolished for 6 runs (5 earned) on 5 hits and 3 walks in 4 innings.
