The Clippers lost tonight as well, so the Bisons remain 2 out of the wildcard. Michael Antonini had a decent outing, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits in 8 innings, but he took the loss tonight. Lucas Duda had 2 doubles, Nick Evans and Kirk Nieuwenhuis each had one.

Mark Cohoon fired a CG 5 hitter in Game 1 of the Mets twinight doubleheader, leading the Mets to a convincing 8-1 thrashing of the Rock Cats in the opener. The Mets offense had 13 hits and a 4/4 BB/K ratio, while going 7 for 13 (.538) with RISP and leaving 8 on base. Jose Coronado, Jordany Valdespin, Josh Satin and Zach Lutz had multi hit games, while Marshall Hubbard (0 for 2, RBI, BB, K, .248) took the only 0-fer.

Jenrry. Mejia (yeah, again). This time a 3 hit CGSO with 4 strikeouts as the Mets swept the doubleheader, taking the nightcap 7 to 0. The Mets offense came to play again, with 9 hits and a 2/4 BB/K, while going 4 for 8 with RISP and leaving 5 on base. Sean Ratliff and Jon Malo had multi hit games in the nightcap, while Valdespin and Saloman Manriquez (0 for 3, .258) took the only 0-fers.

A South Atlantic League: Savannah 16/19/3, Asheville 8/14/1

Well that was fun, the Gnats scored 3+ runs in 3 innings (4 in the 3rd, 3 in the 6th and 6 in the 9th, crusing to a 16-8 victory, despite Darin Gorski getting his brains battered in for a third straight outing. The Gnats had 19 hits and a 5/6 BB/K, while going 10 for 20 with RISP and leaving 10 on base. Travis Ozga, Juan Torres, Jet Butler and Luis Nieves had multi hit games, Matt den Dekker had a 5 hit game. Somehow Nick Santomauro took an 0-fer, his performance is a massive disappointment this season.
