A South Atlantic League: Savannah 2/11/2, Augusta 1/10/1

Cesar Puello is insanely on fire right now, he had 3 more hits and 3 more steals tonight, and is now hitting .290 on the season, and since May 26th, he’s hitting .350/.440/.445/.885 wtih a 20/30 BB/K ratio, and 27 steals in 33 attempts. My good friend Joe DeMayo informs me Puello is described as having “Carl Crawford speed”. Puello is 3.9 seconds out of the box from the right side, Crawford is 3.7 from the left side.

Anyway, Puello and Robbie Shields each had multi hit games for the Gnats, who overall had 11 hits and a 4/6 BB/K, but were just 2 for 10 with RISP and left 13 on base.
