The Mets are continuing their effort to create a bullpen. MLB.com reports that the Mets have claimed veteran right-handed reliever Manny Acosta off waivers from the Atlanta Braves. A person familiar with the workings of the Mets said as much on Tuesday. The Braves had hoped to reassign Acosta, 28, to their Minor League camp if he had cleared.
