5/19 Minor League Report – FERNANDO!!!
Buffalo 3, Pawtucket 4
Fernando Martinez hit a pair of homers off Clay Buchholz today, and that should’ve powered the Bisons to victory, and would’ve, if not for the Human Gas Can from Mexico (Carlos Muniz), who gave up a pair in the 8th inning to blow the game. Great s=day by Fernando, especially when we’re talking about possible additions on this website.
FMart is looking mighty good playing LF or RF right now hitting #2 or #7
in the lineup. I stand by my prediction that Daniel Murphy will be back down in AAA by mid June playing every day. Murphy HAS to play EVERY day it’s the only way he will ever become “ok” at either LF or 1st base.
the mets need help at first and that might not be a bad idea letting murphy play every day as he will rot here.Last night they should havce played reed in the of and murph at first as murph is hideous in the outfield and at least came up as a infielder.fernando i bet comes up after the all star break for the 2nd half.
It’s time to usher in the F-Mart era!
