It’s always fun to see where Mets superstars started out. This video from Scouting Baseball on Twitter shows the humble beginnings of David Wright.

Wright was drafted by the Mets in the first round, 38th overall of the 2001 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Hickory High School in Chesapeake, Virginia.
