The Mets have traded minor league outfielder Julio Concepcion and right-handed pitcher Andres Perez to the Angels in return for an International Signing bonus allotment slot the team announced.

Concepcion has been with the Mets organization since 2007, spending the majority of his time in rookie ball. Between 2012 and 2013, the 23-year old has a combined 23 games with the Brooklyn Cyclones. In 21 at-bats this season, he is batting .238 with three RBIs, no walks and seven strikeouts.

Perez, 22, is currently in the Rookie Level Appalachian League. He currently holds an ERA of 5.56 this season however has a 3.68 ERA in his minor league career.

The Angels’ four signing bonus slots are valued at $534,000 (No. 21), $360,500 (No. 51), $243,500 (No.81) and $155,700 (No. 111), however it is not known at this time which slot the Mets received or how much it is worth. The Mets currently have a 2013 International Bonus Pool of $2,664,000 while the Angels have a $1,993,700 total before the trade.
