Eight Days until Opening Day!

Today, Zack Wheeler will make his fourth start of the spring against Dan Straily and the Miami Marlins. Wheeler and his 2.25 ERA now ranks first among Mets starters after Jason Vargas‘s poor outing on Saturday. The game can only be viewed on the Marlins’ TV and radio station.

Yesterday, the Mets fell to the Washington Nationals via a score of 6-5. Jeurys Familia “opened” for the Mets and Kyle Dowdy followed with three scoreless innings.
