Per ESPN‘s Jeff Passan, the Atlanta Braves acquired Chris Sale in a trade with the Boston Red Sox, along with money. In exchange for Sale, infield prospect, Vaughn Grissom, will be heading to Boston. Sale waved his no-trade clause to join Atlanta. According to Alex Speier of the Boston Globe, the Boston is sending $17 million to Altanta with Sale. For more on this deal, read here.
