On Wednesday night, former Mets pitching coach Phil Regan passed away peacefully of natural causes at 89 years old, per Dave Campbell of the Associated Press. Regan was an All-Star in 1966, pitching 13 seasons for the Tigers, Dodgers, Cubs and White Sox, before delving into coaching, scouting, minor-league instructing and managing in his post-playing career.
