Good morning Mets fans!

Tonight, the Mets will attempt to win their third consecutive game over the Washington Nationals. Corey Oswalt (3-2, 6.31 ERA) will make his second start since being penciled into the starting rotation, while the Nationals will counter with Tanner Roark (9-15, 4.34 ERA). The game can be viewed on WPIX and 710WOR at 4:05 p.m.

Last night, Jacob deGrom stymied the Nats for seven innings and lowered his MLB-best ERA to an incredible 1.77. Thanks to a strong offensive night by Jay Bruce, he actually didn’t leave with a no-decision (for what seems like the first time this season). Dominic Smith and Devin Mesoraco also tallied RBI.
