Good morning, Mets fans!

During Friday night’s game, Francisco Lindor broke his own record for the most home runs in a season by a Mets shortstop with 27. The previous record of 26 was set last year by Lindor, trumping the 23 that Asdrúbal Cabrera hit in 2016. Now, just three years into his Mets tenure, Lindor has easily solidified himself as one of the great shortstops in Mets history and will continue to break records as he continues his illustrious career.
