According to Tim Healey of Newsday, Jeff McNeil (strained left hamstring) took some ground balls on the warning track on Friday. With the tarp on the field in New York, McNeil did not go on the field, just stayed on the warning track.

Per Justin Toscano of The Record/ North Jersey, the New York Mets have not yet reached the 85 percent vaccination threshold. Luis Rojas called it a “work in progress,” as some players are still on the fence about it.

According to SNY on Instagram, Taijuan Walker has the second-lowest ERA (1.84) in Mets history through his first nine starts with the Mets.

Per Jeff Passan of ESPN, Marcell Ozuna of the Atlanta Braves was arrested on Saturday and charged with aggravated assault strangulation and misdemeanor battery in connection to family violence in Sandy Springs, GA.
